Today I finished my organisation section which includes Prop / Costume Lists, Equipment lists and booking forms, Location Recces and Risk Assessments. This helps me to know where I am taking my picture and when I am taking it. I have learnt what a location recces is and how it relates to my magazine.

Today I started my organisation part of my check list because its my sporting information. I have done my photo shoot/ interviews, Crew/ Cast lists
And call sheet. This helps me to know what I am shooting for my picture, which people I will need for the shoot.

Today I finished my PowerPoint presentation and presented it to the class. i also finished my schedule plan because it helps me to keep in order of what I plan to do. What I found out today is what I have to do for my magazine and how I go about doing this. This is useful for me because it helps me to start my work knowing what I have to do.

Today I started work on my planning contents and I did this to help me figure what my magazine is going to look lie. The work I have done is Thumbnails and roughs, Mood Board Including – colours, fonts, sample photos and text, what you feature article will be and what photos you will need to produce and a Full contents listing of your magazine. This information will help me finds find the colour of my magazine and the overall layout.

Today I started work on my layout and contents to find out what may feacture in my magazine and how I will set it out. I found out that I will talk about risks of under age drinking out clubbing and how I might set out my magazine contents page. This will help me to competes my content page.

Today I started work on my Audience and how they are targeted and I am doing this because I need to find out who I am aiming my magazine at. I found that male student age ranges 16-20 are my target audience because I found that most men listen to the genre of music I have picked. This information helps me to zone in on my target audience by bringing up articles that interest them.

today I started my cover analysis because I wanted a closer look at the layout of other magazines. What I found is that they use advertising on the front cover along side a large picture in the centre of the page. This information is useful to me because is helps me to think what my layout might be like.

Today I started work on my detailed analysis of a existing magazines and I did this to find out how I might set out my magazine. I found out that they all use bold titles to make their magazine stand out amongst the other magazines.

Today I started my work on the ABC website because i needed to gather information on my competitors to help me see what I’m up against. I found out that who my closest competitor is and how much they sell their magazine for. With this information I will now try and sell my magazine in the region from £1.50 to £2.20.

Today I started my research on the press complaints commission because I needed to research the information to help me with my magazine. I found out what basic rules I will have to follow and this information is useful to me because is helps me not to get into a legal battle with the subjects in my magazine.
